Sundlaugin í Vík í Mýrdal er staðsett við Mánabraut 3 og er hluti af íþróttamiðstöð bæjarins, þar sem einnig er íþróttasalur og líkamsræktaraðstaða. Laugin er útilaug sem er 16,7 metrar á lengd, þar sem vatnshitinn er um 28 til 29°C. Við hlið hennar er barnalaug með 37 til 38°C vatni, heitur pottur með 40 til 42°C og kaldur pottur. Á svæðinu er einnig gufubað.

Aðstaðan hentar jafnt íbúum sem ferðamönnum sem vilja skella sér í sund í rólegu umhverfi. Sundlaugin er miðsvæðis í þorpinu og í göngufæri frá tjaldsvæði og annari þjónustu í Vík. Hún er vel sótt allt árið, enda er hún einn af föstu viðkomustöðum sumra þeirra sem ferðast um Suðurland.

The swimming pool in Vík í Mýrdal is located at Mánabraut 3 and is part of the town’s sports center, which also includes a sports hall and gym facilities. The pool is an outdoor pool that is 16.7 meters long, with water temperature around 28 to 29°C. Next to it is a children’s pool with water at 37 to 38°C, a hot tub at 40 to 42°C, and a cold tub. There is also a steam bath on site.

The facilities are suitable both for residents and for travelers who want to go for a swim in a peaceful environment. The swimming pool is centrally located in the village and within walking distance of the campsite and other services in Vík. It is well frequented all year round and is one of the regular stopping points for some of those who travel around the South of Iceland.
