Varmaland Swimming Pool

The swimming pool at Varmaland is located in Borgarfjörður, a short distance from Baula, and is open to the public during the summer months. There is a 25 x 12.5 metre outdoor pool with a hot tub and sunbathing area. There is also a steam bath on site and a newly renovated gym, as well as a sports hall that can be rented. A campsite is operated in the area over the summer and is well suited in connection with the swimming pool and facilities for travellers, summer cottage guests and groups. It is possible to contact a staff member for access outside regular opening hours if needed. In the vicinity of the swimming pool is also the community centre Þinghamar, which is rented out for events such as family reunions and gatherings.
