Sundlaugin í Varmahlíð er staðsett við Varmahlíðarskóla í byggðakjarnanum Varmahlíð í Skagafirði, skammt frá þjóðvegi 1. Hún er rekin af Sveitarfélaginu Skagafirði og þjónar bæði íbúum svæðisins og ferðamönnum.

Á svæðinu er útilaug sem er tvískipt, annars vegar 12,5 x 25 metra sundlaug og hins vegar um 12,5 x 8 metra grynnri barnalaug þar sem vatnið er heitara. Í barnalauginni er lítil rennibraut og við sundlaugarsvæðið er heitur pottur. Árið 2018 var tekin í notkun ný vatnsrennibraut, um 7 metra há og 47 metra löng.

Við sundlaugina er leik- og íþróttasvæði með körfuboltavelli og í nágrenninu eru sparkvöllur og ærslabelgur. Laugin er hluti af íþrótta- og tómstundaaðstöðu Varmahlíðar og er notuð bæði til sundkennslu og annarar sundiðkunar.

The swimming pool in Varmahlíð is located by Varmahlíð School in the village core of Varmahlíð in Skagafjörður, a short distance from Highway 1. It is operated by the Municipality of Skagafjörður and serves both local residents and tourists.

The facility includes an outdoor pool that is divided into two sections: a 12.5 x 25 meter swimming pool and a shallower children’s pool of about 12.5 x 8 meters, where the water is warmer. In the children’s pool there is a small slide, and by the pool area there is a hot tub. In 2018 a new water slide was put into use, about 7 meters high and 47 meters long.

Next to the swimming pool there is a play and sports area with a basketball court, and nearby there is a small soccer field and a jumping pillow. The pool is part of Varmahlíð’s sports and leisure facilities and is used both for swimming instruction and general swimming activities.
