Sundlaugin á Blönduósi er við Melabraut 2 á Blönduósi og er hluti af Íþróttamiðstöðinni á vegum Húnabyggðar. Hún er útilaug á þéttbýlissvæði bæjarins, í nágrenni annars íþróttamannvirkis og tjaldsvæðis.  

Aðallaugin er 25 x 8,5 metrar, með dýpi frá um 1,05 m upp í 1,8 m og um 29°C vatnshita. Á svæðinu er vaðlaug, tvær stórar vatnsrennibrautir, tveir heitir pottar með mismunandi hitastigi og kalt kar/ísbað auk gufubaðs. Á sundlaugarsvæðinu eru fjölbreytt leiktæki og leikföng fyrir börn.  

Í búningsklefum eru skápar fyrir sundgesti og aðstaðan er tengd annarri íþróttaaðstöðu, þar á meðal þreksal og íþróttahúsi, sem nýtist í íþróttastarfi staðarins og skipulögðu skólasundi. Í sundlauginni er notast við umhverfisvænt klórframleiðslukerfi þar sem klór er framleiddur á staðnum úr salti, vatni og rafmagni.

The swimming pool in Blönduós is located at Melabraut 2 in Blönduós and is part of the Sports Center operated by Húnabyggð. It is an outdoor pool in the town’s urban area, close to other sports facilities and a campsite.  

The main pool is 25 x 8.5 meters, with a depth from about 1.05 m up to 1.8 m and a water temperature of about 29°C. The area includes a wading pool, two large water slides, two hot tubs with different temperatures, and a cold tub/ice bath, as well as a steam bath. In the pool area there is a variety of play equipment and toys for children.  

The changing rooms have lockers for guests, and the facilities are connected to other sports areas, including a gym and sports hall, which are used for local sports activities and organized school swimming. The pool uses an environmentally friendly chlorine production system, where chlorine is produced on-site from salt, water, and electricity.
