Tálknafjörður Swimming Pool

The swimming pool in Tálknafjörður is part of the town’s sports center and offers a variety of facilities for swimming and fitness. The pool itself is a 25-meter outdoor pool, and next to it are two hot tubs, a cold tub, a children’s pool, and a waterslide. There is also a steam bath by the pool. Inside the sports center there is a well-equipped weightlifting room and a multipurpose sports hall that is used, among other things, for training and events. A campsite is located next to the swimming pool and sports center, and during the summer months it offers kitchen facilities, showers, toilets, and washing machines. The facilities are open to the public and are used by both locals and travelers.
