Sundlaugin í Bolungarvík er hluti af Íþróttamiðstöð Bolungarvíkur, sem var formlega tekin í notkun árið 2004. Þar er boðið upp á fjölbreytta og vel skipulagða aðstöðu fyrir sund og líkamsrækt, sem hentar jafnt heimamönnum sem ferðamönnum.

Laugin sjálf er innilaug, 8 x 16,66 metrar að stærð. Á útisvæðinu eru tveir heitir pottar, annar með 41°C heitu vatni og hinn 39°C með vatnsnuddi. Einnig er þar upphituð vaðlaug fyrir börn, kaldur pottur og stór vatnsrennibraut. Innandyra er einnig gufubað með góðri hvíldaraðstöðu, búningsklefum og tengingu við íþróttasal og tækjasal.

Sundlaugin er í göngufæri frá tjaldsvæðinu í Bolungarvík, sem gerir aðstöðuna sérstaklega hentuga fyrir ferðafólk. Rétt hjá lauginni er vinsæll ærslabelgur fyrir börn og mögulegt er að bóka nudd. Á björtum dögum opnast einstakt útsýni frá lauginni yfir fjallahringinn sem umlykur bæinn.

The swimming pool in Bolungarvík is part of the Bolungarvík Sports Center, which was officially opened in 2004. It offers diverse and well-organized facilities for swimming and fitness, suitable for both locals and tourists.

The pool itself is an indoor pool, measuring 8 x 16.66 meters. In the outdoor area there are two hot tubs, one with 41°C hot water and the other 39°C with water massage. There is also a heated paddling pool for children, a cold tub, and a large waterslide. Indoors there is also a steam bath with a good relaxation area, changing rooms, and direct access to a sports hall and gym.

The swimming pool is within walking distance of the campsite in Bolungarvík, which makes the facilities particularly convenient for travelers. Right next to the pool there is a popular air cushion playground for children, and it is possible to book a massage. On bright days, a unique view opens up from the pool over the ring of mountains surrounding the town.
