Sundlaug Akureyrar er staðsett við Skólastíg 4 á Akureyri og er hluti af íþrótta- og frístundaaðstöðu Akureyrarbæjar. Laugarsvæðið er í hjarta bæjarins og í göngufæri frá miðbænum.

Á svæðinu eru tvær 25 metra útilaugar og 12,5 metra innilaug. Á útisvæðinu eru fjórir heitir pottar, kaldur pottur, gufubað, vaðlaugar og þrjár rennibrautir. Þar á meðal er lengsta vatnsrennibraut landsins. Innanhúss er volgur pottur. Bæði eru inni- og útiklefar. Yfir sumarmánuðina er opið sólbaðssvæði og leiksvæði með gervigrasi.

Sérstakur einstaklingsklefi með lyftuaðgengi, sturtu og hreyfanlegum bekk er í boði fyrir fatlað fólk og aðra sem óska þess. Stólalyftur eru við innilaug, báðar útilaugar og einn heitan pott. Sundlaug Akureyrar er reglulegur vettvangur fyrir sundæfingar, almenningsbað og útivist íbúa og gesta á Norðurlandi.

Akureyri Swimming Pool is located at Skólastígur 4 in Akureyri and is part of Akureyri town’s sports and leisure facilities. The pool area is in the heart of the town and within walking distance of the town center.

The area includes two 25-meter outdoor pools and a 12.5-meter indoor pool. In the outdoor area there are four hot tubs, a cold tub, a steam bath, wading pools, and three water slides, including the longest water slide in the country. Indoors there is a warm tub. There are both indoor and outdoor changing rooms. During the summer months there is an open sunbathing area and a play area with artificial grass.

A special private changing room with lift access, shower, and a movable bench is available for disabled people and others who request it. Chair lifts are installed at the indoor pool, both outdoor pools, and one hot tub. Akureyri Swimming Pool is a regular venue for swim training, public bathing, and outdoor recreation for residents and visitors in North Iceland.
