Selfoss Swimming Pool

Sundhöll Selfoss is located in the town center of Selfoss, within walking distance of shops and services in the town. The swimming pool is one of the largest in South Iceland and over 200,000 guests visit the pool annually. The facilities consist of a 25-meter outdoor pool, an 18-meter indoor pool, a children’s pool with three water slides, a wading pool, a steam bath, a sauna, and hot and cold tubs. Indoors there is also a children’s pool that was added in an extension opened in 2015. At that time, larger changing rooms and a new reception area were also built. The swimming hall has four changing rooms – two indoor and two outdoor – with special changing facilities for people with disabilities in both. There is good accessibility for wheelchairs and access is good for all guests. The indoor pool is used for school swimming and swim training but is open to the public outside training hours. On the upper floor of the swimming hall there is a gym that shares a reception with the swimming pool.
