Sundlaugin í Heiðarbæ er staðsett í Reykjahverfi í dreifbýli í Norðurþingi, um miðja vegu milli Húsavíkur og Mývatnssveitar. Hún er hluti af þjónustu við ferðamenn og gesti á svæðinu þar sem einnig er rekið tjaldsvæði og veitingaaðstaða.

Laugin er lítil útilaug með heitum potti og einfaldri sólbaðsaðstöðu. Á svæðinu eru sólbekkir og ýmis sundleikföng. Aðstaðan miðar fyrst og fremst að almennu sundi og hvíld utandyra.

Sundlaugin þjónar bæði gestum tjaldsvæðisins og öðrum vegfarendum á svæðinu yfir sumarmánuðina og tengist þannig ferðaþjónustu og útivist á austanverðu Norðurlandi.

The swimming pool in Heiðarbær is located in Reykjahverfi in the rural district of Norðurþing, about halfway between Húsavík and the Mývatn area. It is part of the services offered to travelers and visitors in the area, where there is also a campsite and dining facilities.

The pool is a small outdoor pool with a hot tub and simple sunbathing facilities. In the area there are sun loungers and various pool toys. The facilities are primarily intended for general swimming and outdoor relaxation.

The swimming pool serves both guests of the campsite and other travelers in the area during the summer months, and is thus connected to tourism and outdoor recreation in the eastern part of North Iceland.
