Flókalaug er lítil 6 x 12 metra útilaug við orlofsbyggðina á Flókalundi í Vatnsfirði, sunnanverðum Vestfjörðum. Laugin, sem er aðeins opin yfir sumartímann, er jafn djúp allan hringinn, um 90 cm, og við hana eru heitur pottur og barnapottur. Hún var reist árið 1994 og nýtir sama jarðhita og hin vinsæla náttúrulaug Hellulaug sem er skammt undan.

Flókalaug er aðeins opin fyrir gesti orlofsbyggðarinnar. Það er ókeypis að fara í laugina en gestir bera sjálfir ábyrgð á sér. Úr lauginni er glæsilegt útsýni yfir Vatnsfjörð og í nálægð við Flókalund eru margar helstu náttúruperlur svæðisins, s.s. Dynjandi, Rauðisandur, Látrabjarg og Ketildalir.

Flókalaug sameinar einfaldleika, aðgengi og náttúrulega fegurð og býður upp á rólega og afslappandi sundupplifun á ystu nöf Vestfjarða.

Flókalaug is a small 6 x 12 meter outdoor pool by the holiday cottages at Flókalundur in Vatnsfjörður, in the southern Westfjords. The pool, which is only open during the summer, has the same depth all around, about 90 cm, and next to it are a hot tub and a children’s pool. It was built in 1994 and uses the same geothermal heat as the popular natural pool Hellulaug, which is close by.

Flókalaug is only open to guests of the holiday cottages. Entry to the pool is free, but guests are responsible for their own safety. From the pool there is a magnificent view over Vatnsfjörður and near Flókalundur you’ll find many of the area’s main natural attractions, such as Dynjandi, Rauðisandur, Látrabjarg and Ketildalir.

Flókalaug combines simplicity, accessibility and natural beauty, offering a calm and relaxing swimming experience on the outer edge of the Westfjords.
